I started working with software back in high school, where we used technologies like C++, Pascal, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and C#. I spent a lot of time learning and practicing for programming competitions, which helped me build a strong foundation. I even qualified for the national informatics olympiad, which was a great experience and pushed me to go deeper into software development.
During university, I worked on many projects using a wide range of technologies such as C, C++, C#, ASP.NET, Java, Spring Boot, Angular, React, Unity, Python, Docker, and more. I built smaller-scale versions of complex systems, like an e-commerce platform similar to eBay, and developed both 2D and 3D mobile games in Unity. We also studied design patterns to improve application structure and performance, and I continued competing by participating in contests like SEERC (ICPC).
In this course, I learned about the foundations of DevOps, especially the CAMS values — culture, automation, measurement, and sharing. The instructors explained how different tools and methodologies, including agile, lean, and even traditional approaches like ITIL and SDLC, can work together in a DevOps environment.
This course was a great introduction to Redis and its core concepts, showing how it's used for data management and processing. I learned how to work with different data structures like hashes, lists, sets, as well as pub/sub, message buses, streams, and keyspace notifications.
In the mobile development course, I learned how to build cross-platform applications using Flutter, focusing on clean code architecture and effective project structure. I gained hands-on experience integrating Firebase for authentication, database, and API services, and implemented state management using the Provider package to ensure scalable and maintainable apps.
